Jubilee Blanc is an impoverished suburb of Gonaives, Haiti. Gonaives is in northern Haiti and is the capital city of the Artibonite Department.
Jubilee Blanc is near the ocean and built on salt flats. It is dusty and dry most of the year, but also prone to flooding during the rainy season.
Gonaives and Jubilee Blanc were devastated by major hurricanes in 2004 and 2008.
Jubilee Blanc is one of the poorest communities in Haiti, truly βone of the least of these.β (Matthew 25:40)
